Virat Kohli's life story: from colourful solo performer to outstanding leader

Virat Kohli's journey has been amazing. From playing on the streets of West Delhi, to dominating the individual performance rankings, to leading a global team. He finished every job. From being a trailblazer in the promotion of individual fitness to obtaining India's top sports honour, he has accomplished everything. The most obvious transformation, though, has been Virat Kohli's transition from a talented, flamboyant individual to a leader who places a high premium on physical health and work ethics. Being a standout individual performance and motivating the team to achieve its highest potential.

Some of the leadership qualities he has demonstrated on the field include:

  1. Maintain or enhance self-esteem.

  2. Listen and respond with empathy.

  3. Ask for help and encourage involvement.

  4. Share thoughts, feelings, and rationale (to build trust).

Cricket is a team sport, as we all know.
Even if a leader is exceptionally talented, the team will fail if
other members are not sufficiently motivated or engaged to

Virat may have performed remarkably well in his role as a leader for the Indian National team. However, everytime he has represented The Royal Challengers Bangalore, also known as RCB, his leadership abilities have come under intense scrutiny. The squad as a whole struggled, but Kohli's leadership skills were demonstrated by his admission of the error in judgement: According to Kohli, as reported by ESPNcricinfo, "the failure resides where decisions aren't taken properly." That won't be accurate if I remain here and claim that our luck was poor. You create your own luck, and you will lose if you make bad choices while the opposing team makes wise ones. We made poor decisions during important matches as well.

In the past, when they travelled abroad, India had to battle their own demons. The majority of these tours' failures can be attributable to our hitting unit. However, Virat's Indian team has routinely performed well outside of India. However, there have been occasions when they have not shown up, as evidenced by his comments made after they fell behind England 0-2 as a result of the batting unit's failure.

"The batsmen will still be in charge of bearing responsibility and scoring runs. You can score as many runs as you like if you choose not to pick 20 (wickets), as I have previously stated. It is not a matter of salvaging one discipline; rather, it is a matter of each discipline accepting responsibility for their own roles in the situation. However, both options exist depending on how intriguing or spicy the pitch is.
